We would like to take a moment to honor Cecil Lawson who has been serving on our Board of Director since 2014. During his term as board member and President, Cecil has provided so much support and dedication to staff and the survivors of the Gateway area. He has continuously volunteered for all fundraising efforts, donated and provided PR space to raise awareness regarding DOVES and our services. He has always lent a hand anyway he could to the shelter. We have been so blessed to have him representing DOVES and leading our Board for so many years. DOVES is sadden that Cecil’s time has come to an end and we wish him so much happiness and luck in all his next endeavors. Thank you Cecil for providing so much support to DOVES, this community, and the survivors of domestic violence. See MoreSee Less
